Students learned about the components of excellent graphs, identifying patterns in graphs, and applying the International System of Units, or SI system of measurement commonly used in science. During the week, students worked on graphs using data from a waste and recycling table, learned when to use line graphs versus bar graphs, completed a measurement laboratory activity exploring the common language of measurement, and took a quiz on lessons from their textbook.
