Night Switch Roger

This document summarizes the assembly of a Night Switch project from November 16 to December 03, 2015. It details the objectives, procedures, materials used, tools needed, diagrams, and evaluation process. The objectives were to create and assemble a Night Switch using a PCB layout. The procedures involved getting components, checking them, soldering resistors, diodes, transistors, and capacitors in the right places, adding wires, and testing functionality. Materials included various resistors, diodes, a transistor, triac, capacitor, and outlet. Tools for soldering and testing were needed. Diagrams of the schematic, PCB layout, and finished project were included. Accuracy, soldering, component placement, wiring,

NIGHT SWITCH

Date Started: November 16, 2015

2015

I.

Date Finished: December 03,

Objectives
To be able to create a Night Switch.
To be able to assemble the parts and components of Night Switch in the
PCB Layout and at the same time.

II.

Procedures / Steps in Assembling Project

3.
4.
5.

Get all the components needed

Review the Schematic Diagram
Check if the components are complete and correct
Check if the components are functioning well
In soldering the components make sure not to make contact the
components w/c have different foil pattern, if so it will be shorted.
6. Get the resistors resistance value
7. Solder all the resistors in the right place
8. Solder all the diodes in the right place
9. Find the Base, Collector and Emitter of the transistor
10.Solder all the transistors in the right place
11.Solder all the polarized and non-polarized capacitors
12.Solder the Wires for the Convenience Outlet and LDR
13.Make a hole for the Convenience Outlet, Power Cord and LDR1.
14.Connect (solder) the Convenience Outlet, Power Cord and LDR1 to the
wires in the PCB.
15.Check again all the components if they still have resistance or continuity
and lastly the wirings.
