    Introduction

    Target group

    This course, together with CBT#73 Crisis


    Management, covers the mandatory minimum
    training requirements for personnel on passenger
    ships and is based on the provisions of section AV/2, V/3 and table A-V/2 of the STCW 95 code.

    None

    At the end of this module, you will be able to:


    Identify typical human responses to danger and
    common passenger behaviours in emergencies.

    Duration

    Describe the role of drills and debriefing in

    2 hours

    maintaining emergency preparedness and


    promoting situational awareness.
    Identify techniques for managing crowds in an
    emergency.
    Describe the importance of encouraging
    emergency feedback from passengers and
    providing information to them.
