    (b) The pressure exerted by the fluid on the muscular wall provides support and maintain its
    body shape.
    (c) Large land vertebrates are subjected to relatively greater gravitational force than aquatic
    organisms, they need stronger support system to support a heavier load.
    (d) The hard exoskeleton prevents them from growing. The cuticle has to be shed in order to
    grow. This process is called moulting or ecdysis.
