Shooting table for air rifles by John Green

This item can be built from recycled items in your workshop/ garage. The top should be 12mm multiply
but as its 1m long by 700mm wide and the cut-out section is 400mm by 400mm. I did not have a piece
this big so looking at a sheet of 7mm hardboard I made a wooden batten frame to support the
hardboard to try it out and see if it would do the job.
The front leg frame is a reworked trestle and the rear leg also ex the trestle. The table height is 800mm
I needed to make the legs re-moveable for storage so they bolt onto the top. The triangular gussets
made from 12mm multiply were added to brace the front leg frame and later a brace between rear leg
and front leg frame was added.
The shooting table is stable enough to use until I can find some 12mm plywood for the top.
The cushion is used for spring air rifles and the rifle rest for PCP/CO2 . Springers can also be supported
by the rifle rest after shooting.
