Part A: Culture Brochure
Purpose:
Over the past few weeks you have been collecting information about a particular
culture. Your assignment is to create a travel brochure that displays the
information about your culture. This will show your ability to ask question, infer,
gather and collect data (evidence) and communicate your findings.
Due Date: Wednesday June 1st
Instructions:
You will be designing a brochure that must include the following information
below.
The finished brochure should be a tri-folded piece of paper (size is up to you). You
must include illustrations or printed pictures from the internet.

Part B: Cultural Presentation


Purpose: You will have one week to put together a plan to present one
cultural aspect of your research. You will be presenting this to a small group
of students. You are responsible for bringing any materials you may need.
This will show your ability to communicate your ideas and findings to your
peers.
Due Date: Thursday June 2nd

Examples:
Cook/bake a traditional dish to share with your peers (In class or bring
to class already prepared)
Teach the language
Make a traditional outfit
Learn a traditional dance and teach it to your peers
Teach them about a specific celebration and how they celebrate it

Bring in artifacts and speak about each of them
