Hint: When a quadratic polynomial of the form ax2 +bx +c is to be factorised by Splitting the Midterm,
take acas the product andb as sum/difference.
in the first question, product = 12 1
and sum = 7
Now all we will have to do is to find out two numbers whose product is 12 and sum is -7.Since the sum is
negative and product is positive, its evident that both the factors are negative.
It is advisable to do the factorization as given below, divide the biggest number by its lowest prime factor
and simultaneously multiply the other number by that prime factor,
