Administration and Maintenance of two M9000 servers hosting database and SAP.
Three domains for Database and three domains for SAP and six domains are clustered.
All critical backups are taken on daily basis and the OS backups are taken on weekly
basis.Providing OS administration support to around 20+ SOLARIS domains located in
data center and disaster recovery at customer premises.

• Monitoring of production servers using SMC alerts and taking corrective
actions.
• Handling day to day maintenance activities like CPU, memory and file system
usage monitoring and taking corrective actions in case of issues.
• Carrying out emergency changes like extending file system size in case of 100%
utilization of file system.
• Monitoring and generations backup reports.
• Performing monthly activities like generating Capacity & Availability reports for
customers to reflect the average system uptime and utilization in terms of CPU,
memory and file system.

• System Administration of SUN M9000 Servers.
• Installed and configured Domains in SUN M9000 Servers with each Domain
having D240 Media Trays running Solaris 10 Operating System.

Storage Devices connected to M9000 through SAN Switches.
• Maintenance of Quantum SL500 tape Libraries configured under EBS backup.
• System backups and restorations of SUN M9000 Servers with LTO4 tapes.
• Administration of all Networked and Line Printers through OS and licensed
Software EASY SPOOLER.
• DB Server & Application Server maintenance with the coordination of EDP
people of BHEL
• Performance Monitoring Reporting of all Domains of SUN M9000 Servers.
