A. DETAILS OF THE NCFM PROGRAMME

The NCFM Programme

Taking into account international experience and the needs of the Indian financial markets,
National Stock Exchange introduced in 1998 a facility for testing and certification by launching
NSE's Certification in Financial Markets (NCFM).

Financial Markets: A Beginner's Module

This is a basic level programme for those who wish to either begin a career in the financial
markets in India or simply learn the fundamentals of capital markets. The course is structured to
help understand the basic concepts relating to different avenues of investment, the primary and
the secondary market, the derivatives market and financial statement analysis.

Fees to be paid to NSE  

Rs. 1,500/- (Rupees One Thousand Five Hundred Only).

Duration of the Exam

Duration: 120 minutes

No. of questions: 60

Maximum marks: 100, Passing marks: 50 (50%); There is no negative marking in this module.

Certificate validity: For successful candidates, certificates are valid for 5 years from the test date.

B. DETAILS OF THE ORAL COACHING

Venue: Dr AER MBA Colleges, C. Ramapuram

Timing: Daily 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm ( Sunday Holiday)

Trainers: Asst Professor R. Balaji Ravi Gopal and Ms. Soujanya

Fees For oral Coaching: The oral Coaching is only for the students of Dr AER MBA
Colleges, so no fees is proposed to be charged.
