Marines would perform a sample multi-gun training stage using an M1014 shotgun, M4 or M16 rifle, and M9 pistol. The stage consists of engaging various clay, cardboard, and steel targets at different distances and locations over the course of the stage. Marines would transition between weapons while running between shooting positions, engaging different target types within time and ammunition limits. The goal is to build proficiency with multiple weapons under simulated combat conditions.
