    Objective of the System

    The Primary Objective of the System is to develop


    a Safe and Secure Internet Banking System
    Features

    Balance Enquiry

    Funds Transfer to another account in the same bank

    Request for cheque book / change of address / stop payment of


    cheques.

    Viewing Monthly and annual statements.

    User can access account by a SMS. By SMS user can get balance
    enquiry, mini statement, Request for cheque book ,change of
    address, stop payment of cheques.

    Front End: Java Server Pages (JSP) (For View), Java


    Beans (For Models), JDBC (to connect with
    Database)
    Back End: MicroSoft SQLServer
    Server: Apache Tomcat
    Platform Needed
    Hardware requirement

     PC with 2 GB hard-disk and 256 MB RAM

    Software requirement

     Any Window Server OS (Like XP, 2000 or 2003)

     Apache Tomcat (WebServer)

     MicroSoft SQLServer (RDBMS)

    Note: User can use alternates (Like Oracle as RDBMS, or any


    WebServer or Application Server)

    Software will be able to serve the SMS requests by customer about


    balance enquiry, requests and transactions.

    Software will be able to run on mobile / cellular devices with help


    of J2ME (Java 2 Micro Edition)
    Limitations of the System

    Proposed system may have several limitations, they can be encountered to


    user at time of use but at programmer’s perspective it is a perfect internet
    banking system at this time. Now Automatic session timeouts not added with
    present system so this feature of system is not tested.
