    For a family, an extra


    budget of 3.000 € (4,011.11 $) per dependent has to be provided for. A supplementary budget of 375 € (494.586
    $) should be counted if you wish to follow preparatory French courses (for the test).

    Travel expenses and expenses linked to lodging constitute the largest sum of money. Apart from that, expenses
    depend on your life-style and on the fact whether you are entitled to services offered by the University. Living in
    a UCL housing, going to the university canteen or preparing a meal in one's own "kot", going to the libraries and
    the sports infrastructure of the University.
