RECS  RaDonal  and  CCS  Workforce  Challenges

CCS  has  an  ambiDous  growth  path  with  enormous  global  deployment  and  human
capital  needs.    However,  CCS  workforce  and  insDtuDonal  capacity  is  relaDvely  small.

•     Energy  execu3ves  worldwide

consistently  cite  the  shortage  of
scien3fic  and  engineering  talent  among
the  industry’s  most  serious  challenges.

•     CCS  deployment  needs  compound

pressing  workforce  challenges.

levels  and  across  sectors  and  disciplines
(e.g.,  technical,  project  management,
financial,  educa3on,  regulatory,
emissions  trading,  etc.).

•     Before  RECS,  there  were  no
