Before we install the Oracle software, we have completed several tasks as the root user. like below of the
following procedures:
we logged in as the root user, enter the following command to switch user to root:
Depending on the products that we intend to install, verify that the software is installed on the
system.
We check for the packages like:

• And during the installation process is goingon, then it will give a warning message like to run the
root.sh as a ROOT user.
