is the every morning of Kanha National park. Kanha National Park is one of the famous
Wildlife Sanctuary, located in Banjar and Halon valleys in the Mandla district of Madhya
Pradesh.
Kanha National Park is the natural beauty of its landscape over a grassy Glade, undulating
hills and steep rocky slopes. It is the true heaven for all wildlife lovers, animals and avian
population. The park is sheltered with rolling grasslands, Sal, Bamboo forest and tortuous
streams stretch over 940 sq km in theatrical natural splendors.
Kanha National Park has around 22 species of Mammals and 200 species of colorful Birds. Here
you can rendezvous with the Tiger, Barasingha and Leopards, Jackals, Sloth Bear, Porcupines,
Elephant, Black-faced Langur, Guar and an ubiquitous Chital. But after all the amazing diversity
in its wildlife population, Kanha is best known as the habitat of the tiger. Kanha National Park
was one of the first Project Tiger reserve in India. Bird watching at Kanha National Park is
haunting , you are likely to see beauties like the racquet tailed drongo, crimson breasted barbet,
crested hawk eagle and golden oriole.
There is a museum at Kanha depicting attributes and activities of the park and tribal culture.
