6! Optical Zooming
The FinePix S602 Zoom features a fast, responsive F2.8 Super EBC Fujinon 6! optical zoom lens that is equivalent to 35 to 210 mm on a 35 mm camera. This professional-quality, high-precision lens boasts extremely low chromatic aberration and multi-layer coating. It employs a compact floating-type lens system with ten elements in seven groups including aspherical lenses. It offers a range of 13 f-stops, allowing complete control

development and refinement of the CCD, with the incorporation of innovative Noise Reduction Technology and Pixel Data Coupling Technology utilized with an advanced LSI algorithm. The FinePix S602 Zoom excels at fastaction and non-flash shooting under low-light conditions. The higher ISO settings are also effective at preventing camera shake, a major source of image degradation.

ven pixel arrangement. Four times larger than the previously available QVGA size (320 240 pixels), VGA video clips fill the screen of a TV monitor during playback. You can also enjoy QVGA-sized movie recording at the same frame rate. Captured video clip images are smooth and highly detailed, and recorded in the Motion JPEG (AVI) format, so that you can also enjoy viewing each frame as a high quality still image.
When recording movies, the 3rd-Generation Super CCD combines data from each two vertical pixels into single value, and then does the same with data from each two horizontal pixels. This near-instantaneous processing results in higher frame rates and brighter, clearer VGAsized movies. The FinePix S602 Zoom actually rivals digital video camcorders in its ability to capture video clips with high quality image and outstandingly smooth motion.
vertical direction Pixel-Mixing Technology, realized by the Super CCDs unique interwo-
over depth of field. Smooth digital zooming up to 4.4! (in 640 480-pixel mode) helps bring the action right in front of your eyes. Combined with 6! optical zoom, the FinePix S602 Zoom can effectively magnify images up to approximately 26.4! (924 mm equivalent).

All Information
Super Intelligent Auto White Balance The advanced Super Intelligent Auto White Balance of the FinePix S602 Zoom precisely detects lighting conditions on your subjects, even in situations with several different light sources including flash, and evaluates each factor to deliver highly accurate, natural colors. Super Intelligent Auto Exposure The 64-zone TTL metering system consistently produces perfect exposures, even under the most difficult lighting conditions.
Macro mode
SP Scene Position This mode offers convenient five special program modes: Portrait, Landscape, Sports, Night Scene and Black-and-White.
1-cm Super Macro
The Super Macro mode of the FinePix S602 Zoom lets you move in to an amazing 1 cm from your subject. At this distance, an area measuring approx. 2030 mm fills the finder frame.
tion to manual white balance, the FinePix S602 Zoom offers a Custom White Balance setting: simply select the mode to preset the white balance for as long as required. This function is especially useful when the exact lighting conditions cannot be determined on the spot.
Multi-Exposure Shooting A multi-exposure mode allows you to preview and compare different exposures of the same image before saving the best selection (or to exit the session without recording any images). Sharpness Setting Three sharpness settings are available: Hard, Soft, or Normal. Hard emphasizes the edge areas of images, while Soft turns off all in-camera sharpening. Preview/Post-View Function This function displays the most recently captured image on-screen. Post-view displays the image for few seconds and then automatically records it to the storage media card. Preview provides the option of deleting an image immediately if it you dont wish to record it. Histogram Display You may view the histogram of any captured image on the LCD monitor before or after recording the image on the storage media card.
home, with a design that naturally fits the hands, and logical, well-placed controls.
use of external flash units. The camera can synchronize with an external flash at any shutter speed up to 1/1,000 second.
Extended Exposures The FinePix S602 Zoom offers improved extended exposure capability of up to 15 seconds, with lower noise than ever before. The wide range of slow shutter speeds makes possible a variety of unique effects. Auto Exposure Bracketing You can use the cameras Auto Exposure Bracketing function to automatically capture three consecutive exposures in 1/3, 2/3 or 1 EV increments over and under the set exposure. Exposure Compensation Exposure compensation can be adjusted in the Programmed AE, Aperture priority AE and Shutter Priority AE modes, from 2 to +2 EV in 1/3-step increments.
Long-Life Battery
Engineered for low power consumption, a single set of four AA alkaline batteries enables the FinePix S602 Zoom to take up 210 shots with EVF on and LCD off.
Manual Focus In addition to its highly accurate dual-method AF system, the manual focus mode allows precise focus by turning the focus ring. Manual White Balance The camera provides six white balance presets as well as precise fine-tuning. In addi-
Programmed AE In this mode, the camera automatically selects shutter speed and aperture, while allowing you to set all other parameters. Shutter Speed Priority AE This mode lets you select the shutter speed, from 1/1,000-second to 3 seconds. Aperture-Priority AE This mode lets you select the lens aperture over a range of 13 f-stops, from f/2.8 to f/11. Manual exposure For times when you want full creative control, Manual exposure mode allows you to select shutter speed and aperture independently.
