16.98.75
A GSM modem allows you to carry out remote reading and configuring of the meteostations. To this purpose the GSM network is used.
16.98.81
Shielded cable for communication (and power supply 12 Volt) between Mainshog (power supply) and Datahog2
With the use of an SMS (Short Message Service) modem it is possible to program and read various intelligent sensors (e+sensors).
16.98.84
The modem regularly reads the measurement information from all the sensors and sends the data in the form of SMS messages to a central Internet database. The SMS messages are translated back into measurement data at the site of the Internet server and are stored in a central database. Users can access their recorded measurement data via www.e-sense.info where they can make a choice from different ways in which the measuring information is presented. It is also possible to make changes to the installations from a distance via the e-SENSE web page. These changes are sent by SMS messaging to the SMS modem.
Shielded cable for communication (and power supply 25 Volt) between Mainshog (power supply) and signal booster (line drivers). The logger and computer are communicating via a serial RS 232 cable with a speed of 9600 bps. The length of such a connection is restricted till ca. 20 meter. At greater lengths a linedriver is used. A linedriver extends the connection between a datalogger (DL2e or Datahog 2) and a PC till a distance of 2 km. Power supply for the linedrivers comes from separate mains or solar energy system.
Programming and reading out the data from the Internet database.

Maintenance
Maintenance or repair to your equipment is always an inconvenience. It suddenly becomes apparent that an instrument is no longer working correctly or has reached the point where it needs calibration or adjustment. This always happens, just when you need the equipment most. Times like this demonstrate that preventive maintenance avoids damage caused by defects being discovered too late. For this reason we warmly recommend entering an annual maintenance contract.
