our diseases. Matt 8:17 (GW) He took the punishment that was
supposed to be upon us, so that we can experience freedom in our very own personal life every single day we live, that is by living with Christ. That means to tell us, for me to live is Christ. It is clear that man cannot live without God, we can only see life fulfilling when we have Christ in our life.

TOWER OF LIGHT
You are light for the world. A city cannot be hidden when it is located on a hill. Matthew 5:14 Matt 5:14 (GW)
the encouragement we have to take is that God is calling us to involve more in His great work. In Matthew 9:37 Then he said to his disciples, The harvest is large, but the workers are few we can see here clearly that the problem is that there is not many people who can commit themselves to the work in the harvest field. But I believe that many believers today they can only move when God shows something to them in a very personal way, for them to be very sure that God is speaking to them. One of the greatest things we find in the Bible is that many great attempts in great work of God is obedient. Obedience of Abraham leads the world the world entire world to be blessed through Jesus Christ. Even the Lord Jesus was obedient to die so that we may live, and we can see in His ministry in whatever He does He was total in commitment, whether healing someone in the crowd or healing someone in a home. He set an example before us so that we can follow His footsteps. I believe everything we learned from Christ in our Church are firstly practiced in Church, and I can boldly say that a strong Church is formed up with strong Families.
SERVING AS A FAMILY!
What a great thing to do as family to serve in the Kingdom of God. In whatever ways that God leads you to serve in His Kingdom whether helping people assisting them with their needs or sharing the word of God, we have to do it faithfully knowing that God wants His people to show His love to the world, not just by words but also in action like what the apostle James said that FAITH WITHOUT WORK IS DEAD It does not mean that our faith has to be approved by our work? Certainly not. As a people of faith, we just have to show that we have faith in a great God, by showing His love towards people in our community. One of the greatest things I normally admire in Church is when I see family serving together in the Church, and I believe that the love of God that grows in the lives of good families inspires them to do great things for Gods Kingdom. Weve been supporting needy families in Hamilton Church and also in Peria Church. Most of the gifts we received in Church from families have helped our Church to minister not only in our community, but also in the mission field abroad. Jesus told His disciples to open their eyes and look at the fields are ready to be harvested. I think

SAMMERITAN PURSE
CHURCH PROGRAM
SUNDAY
Prayer Session - 2:30 PM Main Service - 3:00 PM - Worship - Sermon - Sunday School for Service for Kids
This is the second year our Church has been encouraged to participate in the Samaritans Purse Operation Christmas Child. The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate Gods love in a tangible way to needy children around the world, and together with the local church worldwide, to share the good news of Jesus Christ. . Operation Christmas Child is a unique project of Samaritans Purse that brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes. More than 80 million children in 130 countries have been touched by Operation Christmas Child since 1993. Through Operation Christmas Child families and individuals of all ages have the opportunity to be part of a simple, hands-on project that can transform the lives of children and families as whole communities have the opportunity for further change through other development projects. I have been involved with this project since 2006 when I moved to NZ and started working at the Baptist Church. Since 2011 I took over the Matamata Area Coordinating. Craig Scott is our New Zealand Director and I work under a lovely couple Neil and Geraldine Gumbley, who
is the Bay of Plenty Co coordinators. Between July and September thousands of volunteers fill shoe boxes by following the guide of the brochures. Some people even collect items right through the year as they see specials in the shops. Although pre-printed boxes are available, empty shoe boxes can also be used. The shoe box must then be wrapped in some lovely gift wrap. (The joy on the childrens faces to see these lovely decorated boxes is PRICELESS!!) The boxes are to be brought back to the collection points (mostly churches and by the end of October all the boxes goes to a central collection point at the Baptist Church from who kindly offered us room to store the boxes until the Area Co coordinators comes to pick them up and it is taken to Auckland for shipment to the various destinations. A good idea is to buy little things as you see them; it saves the cost of buying all the items at once and might even enable you to fill more boxes!! In His service,

revival, and if the church pray rival will definitely come. A seed in a dry land will wait for the rain to help the seed to germinate and makes it grow. We probably thorough with the study of the word but we need the Holy Spirit to makes that knowledge become effective in your life. Prayer will help us believers to subject ourselves to the guidance of the Spirit of God. Jesus said to His disciples, YOU WILL RECEIVE POWER WHEN THE HOLY SPIRIT COMES UPON YOU
Just imagined what will happen to this town of Matamata if all the Churches around in town, gather together and pray consistently one day every week in one year Matamata will never be the same again. Jesus said to His disciples, Matthew 28:18-20 All authority has been given to Me in 19 [c] heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son 20 and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen. The Church needs to realize now that Christ has given us power, power to bring healing, restoration, to the live of people who are lost. Let us start now praying for our neighbors; people live close to where we live. The encouragement for us is for us to engage ourselves to prayer, as the Paul says to the Ephesians praying always with all prayers.
