RAISE THE PADDLE
Each year, the auction concludes with RAISE THE PADDLE. It's an
opportunity for our Travis community to focus on our changing needs
that propel us forward. Two years ago, the Travis Foundation was
created with a mission to improve, encourage and enhance educational
opportunities that will have a long term impact on Travis students, staff
and broader community. To date, 28 teacher grants have been
approved for a total of $49,614.69! The remainder of the funds that
were raised have been set aside for long term goals and/or for rainy
day purposes. This year, Raise the Paddle will again benefit the Travis
Foundation. Budget cuts WILL continue to affect the educational system
- including Travis. Whether you raise your paddle to donate $10 or
$10,000, your contribution will make a difference for our children!

Is it okay to attend solo?
Absolutely! We are all friends here! Come one, come all!
Are kids included?
Adults-only please! For attendees, free childcare is provided at the
school with advance admission purchase & childcare reservations.
Im volunteer/donating, do I need to buy a ticket?
Yes, even the chair buys a ticket. Only teachers & admin are given tickets
through auction sponsorships.
Was there a February 13th deadline for auction donations?
Feb. 13th is the deadline to have your item included in the fabulous printed
catalog, but donations will be taken through February 28th. Please
make things easier for the committee and submit your donation early!
Have enough items been donated?
Never enough! Please bring it on! We could especially use party hosts!
Do I need to wait for someone to ask me to donate?
No need to wait to be asked! This school is your school.

Thanks to Mrs. Walker, childcare is provided at no cost
for those with pre-purchased auction admission. After
the Bell staff will care for children ages 3 years and
older at Travis. Children must be potty-trained.
Reservations required & space is limited.
Need care for children under 3? Heights Preschool
will host a Parents Night Out auction evening and
accepts children ages 12 months (walking) to 9 years.
