Greetings friends, families, and officials. It is a great pleasure to bring to the Aberdeen community such a big an exciting business as Rock And Rollercoaster Theme Park. Not only have we been preparing for our Grand Opening since early last year, but we have been talking to and seeking the advice of local community members. We want people to feel apart of the already growing Rock And Rollercoaster family. This isnt something we can build and keep alive without your help. Through community service events and partnerships, Rock And Rollercoaster is making the Aberdeen community and surrounding Baltimore areas our primary concerns. We have already received a tremendous amount of support from everyone and it is all overwhelming. Rock And Rollercoaster's Grand Opening and Summer Kick-Off Concert are events for the whole family. Grand Opening Sparks Communitys Interest

The Grand Opening of Rock And Rollercoaster isnt until the summer of 2012 and the local Aberdeen community is already so enthusiastic. I cant wait to take my four children. Its so much better than driving hours to Kings Dominion, says Barbara Hines, a native born and raised in Aberdeen, Md. The opening of Rock And Rollercoaster will be Aberdeens biggest Grand Opening event to date. With a huge artist line-up for the Summer Kick-Off Concert, families have so much to look forward to besides the rides and attractions. Not only are we trying to bring families back together again but were establishing a fun zone. Basically somewhere families can partake in exciting activities that will leave lasting memories for everyone, said owner Steve Stoute. Local churches, radio stations, news outlets have all been called to enjoy the Grand Opening. The local police is estimating a little over 10,000 people in attendance and will be on hand to assist as needed.

Summer Kick-Off Concert Welcomes Big Time Artists

Newcomer J.Cole, a North Carolina bred rapper signed to Roc Nation is one of two rappers on the line-up including hip-hop veteran Jay-Z. His wife Beyonce will also be hitting the stage along with other R&B and Jazz acts such as Erykah Badu and Janelle Monae. Rock And Rollercoasters Summer KickOff Concert will be one for the record books as more than 10 artists will be performing live back-to-back. As part of the Grand Opening, different artists from each musical genre will be If thats not enough, country music artists Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood have too been added to the line-up. Another local favorite who will be performing at the Summer Kick-Off Concert is folk artist, Bob Dylan. Coming off of his long stint of tours around the world, Dylan adds a little bit of jazz, blues and rock n roll to the concert. Other known artists such as Miri Ben Ari, Cold Play, and U2 will also be performing. Rock And Rollercoaster will begin selling tickets in May 2012. The cost of attendance is $35 for Adults and $15 for children 12 and under. Tickets will be sold online at www.rockandrollerooaster.com and at the Rock And Rollercoaster Sales & Ticketing Office.

Rock And Rollercoaster Gives Back To Inner-City Youths

Rock And Rollercoaster's community outreach expands beyond the steel poles of their rides starting with the Take Back Our Schools campaign. This new campaign, backed by Governor Martin OMalley, is geared towards innercity elementary and middle schools. Beginning in July 2012, Rock And Rollercoaster will be hosting community service events in near by neighborhoods every day for a whole month. These events range from neighborhood park clean-ups to re-painting classrooms. Rock And Rollercoaster is devoted to community involvement and is providing an incentive for all students who volunteer their time in any community service event. Any student who commits four or more hours to the Take Back Our Schools campaign will receive one entry ticket to Rock And Rollercoasters Summer KickOff Concert. Maryland Governor Martin OMalley has expressed his gratitude towards the parks effort in restoring the citys community. We need to focus on giving students, teachers, and parents the resources they need to succeed, said Governor OMalley. Not only is Rock And Rollercoaster participating in the Tack Back Our Schools Campaign but also Teach Me Tuesdays. Every Tuesday of each month, workshops will be held at the Rock N Roll Arena for parents, students, and teachers. Teach Me Tuesdays gets the schools involved in the engineering and design aspect of rollercoaster environmental safety and care.

Chick-Fil-A Added To List of Sponsors

Chick-Fil-A is the latest franchise to be added to Rock And Rollercoaster's growing list of sponsors. With over 40 locations in the Baltimore and surrounding areas community, Chick-Fil-A is known for inventing the boneless breast of chicken sandwich. Starting out at as a small restaurant in a mall in Atlanta, Ga., in 1967, Chick-Fil-A has the same goals as Rock And Rollercoaster. We both want to grow our business, provide innovative concepts, and be of service to the people. You can count on Chick-Fil-A to bring their famous chicken sandwiches and milkshakes to the parks food services. Were placing four different Chick-Fil-A restaurants throughout the park," says Director of Food Services, Ed Reed. One towards the entrance and the other three will be located in the Hip-Hop, Pop and Rock N Roll sections of the theme park. New Rids, More Fun

As the Grand Opening of Rock And Rollercoaster draws near, new rides and more fun appears. It isnt enough for the park to have six different sections catering to a different genre of music. But to have six different rides catering to a different type of genre of music is all the more fun. With these new rides, families are sure to never get bored. Our newest ride, The Slash, boasts a speed of 80 mph and is one of the worlds loudest roller coasters. With its all white, roaring steel, The Slash, seats 30 people at a time and is located in the Pop section. One of the more famous rides in the Hip Hop section is the Rap-A-Port. In an epic virtual IMAX theater designed by NASA engineers, Rap-A-Port is an indoor ride that travels through current and old school rap music. You can enjoy the sounds of Run DMC to one of Rock And Rollercoaster's Summer Kick-Off Concert headliners, JayZ. Smooth Operator, which takes its name after the well-known Sade song, glides across a five mile river in the heart of the R&B and Jazz section. Another ride called The Scream comes all the way from Japan and features a mini bobble head that sits in the front of each seat and screams the entire ride. This ride goes 100 mph and includes a 100ft drop. Other notable rides include the red, white and blue Thunderbird found in the Country section and The Beethoven set in the Classical section. Our kiddy section called Rising Stars features a carousel, miniature rollercoaster's, and a huge play area with slides, swings, and waterfalls! All of Rock And Rollercoaster's rides have been tested and tested again for the upmost safety for our visitors. Some rides do have height requirements and all of our safety rules are located at the line entrance of each ride.

Madame Tussauds Statues Reveal Six Iconic Figures

The love for Madame Tussauds wax figures began in London with the opening of her wax museum, Madame Tussauds. This major tourist attraction is known for its life size wax figures of sports stars, historical and royal figures, film stars and celebrities. Rock and Rollercoaster is honored to have six Madame Tussauds wax figures gracing our theme park. Each figure represents an iconic artist from each of the six genres of music. Standing at a height of 15m, the bronze statues provide pieces of history the whole family can enjoy. While the unveiling of those iconic artists is not until next summer here are some clues to the identity of those artists: Rock N Roll Section: Country:
