I am working as a senior registrar and acting consultant in the vascular and

interventional unit department of medical imaging of King Khalid Universality Hospital.
Following are the cases which are routinely perform in our unit which are done by me.

Vascular cases-

1. Diagnostic abdominal aortogram and peripheral lower limb angiographies.

2. Hepatic chemoembolization.
3. Perm catheter insertion for dialysis patient.
4. Spermatic venogram and embolization.
5. Abdominal aortogram and celiac, mesenteric angiograms and embolization.
6. Thrombolysis infusion catheter placement and thrombolysis.
7. Diagnostic upper limb angiography.
8. 4 vessels cerebral diagnostic angiograms.
9. IVC filter placement.
10. Iliac angioplasty and stenting.
11. Peripheral vessels angioplasty.
12. Inferior and superior venocavography , plasties and stenting.
13. Hickman line placement.
14. Pick line placement.
15. Renal angiogram , angioplasties and stenting.
16. Arch aortogram and carotid angiograms.
17. Fistulogram of dialysis patients.
18. Peripheral venograms.
19. Porta cath insertion.

Some times I was also rotated in various other units of radiology department to cover
fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT scan as needed. I was also assigned to report plain X-Rays.

Educational & Scholarly–

I am deeply involved in educational & scholarly activities in the department conducting

tutorials and film viewing sessions for residents. I also coordinate vascular radiology,
chest radiology and accident and emergency meetings. I am also actively participating in
all academic meetings lecturers in the department as well outside.
