COLREG

1. Fishing vessels, towed vessels, and sailing vessels do not show any masthead lights, indicating their size. 2. Pilot vessels, towing vessels, sailing vessels, mine clearance vessels, and WIG craft are considered underway and possibly making way when using their required lights. 3. Fishing vessels, trawlers, and vessels restricted in their ability to maneuver (except mine clearance and towing vessels) switch off something when underway but stop. 4. Fishing vessels, trawlers, and dredgers do not show anchor lights and show the same lights when stopped as when anchored.
