River fishing rules are contained in the Missouri Wildlife Code. Special rules and permits are required for all trout fishing, and this information is posted at the appropriate lakes. Trout fishing is currently offered at Tilles and Suson County Parks. Three poles are allowed per person except during winter trout season. Gig and long bow fishing is prohibited. Seining/collecting of bait is prohibited. Trot lines, limb lines, throw lines and jug fishing is prohibited in St. Louis County Park lakes. Frogs may be taken with pole and line only.
