    UEM Group Berhad, the wholly owned subsidiary of Khazanah Nasional Berhad an investment arm of the Government of Malaysia, is an engineering-based infrastructure group with four core business divisions namely Expressways, Township & Property Development, Engineering & Construction, and Asset & Facility Management. UEM Group has completed infrastructure, transportation and building projects in Malaysia totaling more than USD8.2 billion since 1988 and is currently undertaking several key national projects such as the Penang Bridge 2, klia2, MRT Corp.s MY Rapid Transit Viaduct Package V8 and Package S3 and it was recently awarded the 600-bedded, 12-storey Women and Children Hospital. UEM Group through its Township & Property Development agship company, UEM Sunrise Berhad, is also the master developer of Nusajaya, a key agship zone of Iskandar Malaysia. Outside Malaysia, UEM Group is undertaking several construction projects including the Jetpur-Somnath Highway in India, the 116-kilometre Cikampek-Palimanan Expressway in West Java, Indonesia and 4,000 units of houses for the National Housing Scheme of Brunei Darussalam. It also has property development project in Canada. UEM Group operates through more than 20 major operating companies, 3 of which are listed on local and international bourses, and has human resource of more than 15,000 including 3,200 technical professionals. Its headquarters is in Kuala Lumpur with presence in various countries around the globe including India, Indonesia, Singapore, Canada, United Kingdom, New Zealand and the Middle East.
