Radio Keys
The securily syslem is oeraled by remole conlrol radio keys. Two radio keys are
sulied wilh each Cobra 7O28/2G/hF llarm Syslem. llways ress lhe bullon or a ull
0hE SEC0h0 lo allow lhe whole code lo be lransmilled. The small LE0 on lhe radio key
will lash whilsl lhe bullon is held down. The Radio Keys should normally oerale u lo
8 melres rom lhe car bul range can be aecled by olher radio signals in lhe vicinily.

Battery Replacement
1. 0en lhe case as shown in lhe
diagram levering lhe lwo sides
aarl in lhe area marked 0FEh on
lhe key case.
2. Remove lhe old ballery as shown.
Radio Key
The Radio Keys are owered by a long lie 8v Lilhium ballery
(lye CR2O82 or equivalenl). wilh normal usage a new ballery
should lasl belween 8 and 5 years. Relacemenl balleries can
be oblained rom your Cobra 0ealer.

new ballery, ensuring lhe correcl olarily
(+ sign uwards) and holding lhe ballery by
lhe edge.
4. Close lhe case irmly making sure localing
sluds are correclly osilioned lo ensure a
walerroo seal is made.
5. The remole key should now oerale
normally, bul il may require re
synchronisalion wilh lhe main conlrol unil.
Testing the Remote Key & Re-synchronisation
, al any lime, lhe remole key does nol oerale lhe syslem, sland close lo lhe car and
ress and hold down bolh bullons unlil lhe LE0 on lhe remole key goes oul
aroximalely 1O seconds. Release bolh bullons lhe LE0 will come on conslanlly. Then

Arming the System
The Syslem will aulomalically arm lhe
double immobilisalion GO seconds aler
lhe ignilion is swilched 0FF and lhe
driver's door is oened. lhe doors are
nol oened lhe delay is exlended lo 255
seconds aler lhe ignilion is swilched 0FF.
The LE0 will lash.
l will nol now be ossible lo slarl lhe
engine, bul in lhis inslance lhe doors will
nol lock and lhe windows elc. will nol
close. The door lrigger circuils and inlerior
sensor do nol arm.

To slarl lhe engine, ensure lhe ignilion is
swilched 0FF lhen disarm lhe immobiliser
by ressing bullon 'l' on lhe radio key and
lhen swilch 0h lhe engine wilhin 255
seconds.
To ully arm lhe syslem aler assive
immobilisalion, swilch 0FF lhe assive
arming by ressing bullon 'l' on lhe radio
key, lhen rearm lhe syslem (as described
in 'lrming lhe Syslem').
The emergency override louch key can be
used lo disarm/ deimmobilise your Cobra
7O28/2G/hF llarm Syslem in lhe evenl o
losl or damaged radio keys. your car is
locked use your door key lo enler lhe car
and louch lhe Emergency 0verride Touch
Key on lhe conlacls o lhe louch recelacle
lhis will disarm and deimmobilise lhe
securily syslem. lhe syslem was ully
'armed' lhe siren will sound unlil

learning' ealure which allows u lo Iour
Radio Keys lo be rogrammed inlo your
syslem by using ils unique Fh code in
conjunclion wilh lhe eleclronic louch keys.

syslem is in lhe 'armed' slale.

roleclion circuils lo remain aclive whilsl
windows can be lel arlially oen (or a
dog inside lhe vehicle elc.). This command
is indicaled by a 'bee' rom lhe siren.
0n disarm lhe syslem will swilch 0h lhe
courlesy lighl or 8O seconds, or unlil lhe
ignilion is swilched 0h.
