Your diet is moderately moderate. You rarely consume too much but in some food groups like protein, fruit, grains you are just shy of recommended amounts. Is your clients diet varied? Explain your answer in no more than 4 sentences. Your diet is not very varied. Most of your vegetables are only green vegetables and only provide you with a certain mix of vitamins and minerals. Also, you ate a lot of the same foods each day, eg Easy MAC, Salad, pita chips. And almost all your protein came from meat and poultry What are five changes your client could make to improve their diet? The recommended changes must be specific. What aspect of the diet are you trying to improve? What foods (not food groups) do you recommend your client add/eliminate from his/her diet? When do you recommend your client consume these foods? Be concise. Your answer should take the form of a numbered list. Be complete but concise. 1. Eat more whole grains to have a more balanced and varied diet. 2. Vary your food choices all together and within each food group so that you can receive ALL the nutrients you need. Instead of only eating green veggies try some red peppers and squash! 3. Consume more diary products because you were very low beneath the recommended amount. You need the calcium, vitamin D and potassium that it provides. 4. Cut back on oil intake to have a more moderate diet. Try to put less dressing on your salads! 5. Treat your self everyone and awhile, you have some room in your recommended daily SoFAs. This will also increase variety and moderation in your diet while giving you a little pick me up. .
