ABOUT 2014 MATH OLYMPIAD TRAINING CAMP
The MOTC is a 3days enrichment programs that
engage students in the thrill of discovery while using mathematics to strengthen study habits, deepen understanding and refine their educational goals. It give them a better picture of their own academic abilities and potential; helps them to sharpen their academic skills and broadens their overall educational experiences. It also provides them the chance to develop character, learn valuable life skills, make new friends and discover new interests.
OBJECTIVE 1. Provide a learning enviroment for Form 1 to Form 5 students showing different mathematical abilities and perceptions; 2. Increase confidence to grow in an understanding of students own personal thinking style; 3. Develop a self-sustaining learning communities through fun-filled activities; 4. Cultivate students natural math abilities through exploration and discovery at an early age; 5. Prepare students for future important national and international mathematics competitions and; LECTURER / FACILITATOR
The MOTC covers a great deal of material and places emphasis on active learning and putting knowledge to use in independent and creative ways;
