Healing Touch is a nursing based continuing education program for registered nurses, physicians,
body therapists, counselors, psycho-therapists, other health professionals, and individuals
desiring an in-depth understanding and practice of healing work using energy based concepts.

Level 1 Description
16 continuing education contact
hours of instruction, allowing
persons with varying
backgrounds to enter,
acknowledge their previous
learning and to further develop
concepts and skills in energybased therapy. A strong
commitment to personal growth
is required.

Barb has used holistic nursing
interventions integrating the
best of traditional medicine and
complementary therapies to
support patients in their
healing. As a holistic nurse,
Barb has dedicated her work to
the integration of body, mind
and spirit in health and healing.
Barb presently works at the
UNM Center for Life as the
integrative clinic nurse and
energy medicine provider.
