with the evolution of twentieth century
mining and minerals processing. Since
the early 1900s, EIMCO has pioneered
the development and deployment of
new process technology and equipment,
producing products that have helped the
mining industry steadily reduce its cost
of production while maximizing
recovery efficiency.
Today, EIMCO supports the extractive
industries with an unmatched combination of advanced engineering, worldwide manufacturing facilities and comprehensive technical support services.
Advanced Engineering - EIMCO
blends the latest CAD/CAM
technologies with an intimate
understanding of process flowsheets
and mill environments, producing
mechanical systems that are productive,
reliable and economical.
Worldwide Manufacturing Manufacturing facilities are located
in North and South America, Europe,
Africa, and Australia.
Technical Support - Expert technical
support specialists are available worldwide for process consultation, flow
sheet development, mechanism sizing,
troubleshooting and new installation
start-up assistance.
Tankage and Erection Service In many parts of the world, complete
erection and construction management
services are available for containment
tanks and basins used with EIMCO
sedimentation equipment.
EIMCO Thickeners
EIMCO is the worlds leading manufacturer of minerals-duty thickeners in applications such as concentrate, tailings,
preleach and CCD. With over a half
centurys experience and thousands of
installations, EIMCO Process engineers
can assist in sizing and mechanism
selection for maximum economy and
performance.
Thickener Types:
Bridge supported mechanism - for
basins to 53m (174 ft.) in diameter
Column supported mechanism for basins to 183m. (600 ft.) in
diameter. Includes conventional
center pier support as well as
caisson design with underflow
pumps located within the caisson.
Center drive and peripheral traction
drive designs are available.
SwingLift TM (cable drive) for thixotropic slurries. Available to
90m (300 ft.) diameter.
Hi-RateTM Thickener Enhanced flocculation accelerates settling. Higher flow and loading rates
reduce space requirements. Available
up to 125m. (420 ft.) diameter.
Metallurgical Reactor-Clarifier designed for high-efficiency clarification of feed streams using mechanical flocculation in the feedwell.
Rakeless (E-CATTM ) - clarifierthickeners combine excellent
clarification and high underflow
slurry density in a small footprint.
Delta-Stak - Inclined Plate
Clarifiers give large clarification
area in a compact, low
maintenance tank.
Deep ConeTM Paste Thickener
patented system to maximize
solids concentration for economic
disposal and liquor recovery.
High Density Paste Thickener for
high tonnage applications producing high solids concentration.

EIMCO Extractor
Horizontal Belt Filters
EIMCO Extractor horizontal belt
vacuum filters are versatile, highproduction machines that utilize both
gravity and vacuum forces for rapid
separation of liquids from coarse solids.
Multiple wash zones of adjustable
size can be arranged in co-current or
counter-current fashion, making the
EIMCO Extractor HBF filter an ideal
choice for cake washing applications.
Top feed and an extended cake drying
zone accommodate fast settling solids
and low cake moisture requirements.
Drum length:
1 - 11m (3 - 36 ft.)
EIMCOMET Molded
Thermoplastic Drum Filters
EIMCOMet TM filters provide dependable
vacuum filtration in corrosive
applications such as those found in many
molybdenum and rare earth circuits at a substantially lower price than
filters constructed of exotic metals.
All components that contact corrosive
agents are molded thermoplastic or FRP.

EIMCO Belt Press Filters
EIMCO Belt Press Filters effectively
combine long gravity drainage and
wedge sections with decreasing diameter
compression rolls, each one wrappped
over a long arc to maximize retention
time under pressure. This results in
higher throughputs and lower cake
moistures. Fine coal or tailings can be
efficiently dewatered for dry stacking.
EIMCO filters accommodate feed
material from 0.5 - 0mm (30 - 0 mesh)
in size.
WEMCO Pacesetter
Oil/Water Separators
The WEMCO Pacesetter oil/water
separator has become the standard in
SX-EW applications for separating aqueous and organic streams. The Pacesetter
separator uses a unique, two-stage process to effectively recover entrained
organic from either raffinate or electrolyte or to remove entrained aqueous
from organic streams. First, influent
energy is diffused by a coalescer pack
causing small droplets to collide and
form larger ones. This is followed by a
separator pack that provides separate
surfaces and flow paths for aqueous
and organic streams thus preventing
re-entrainment. The packs are inclined
at 60 degrees to enhance solids removal.
The WEMCO Pacesetter oil/water separator is designed to handle a wide variety of influent entrainment concentrations as well as upset conditions and
crud runs.
Pacesetter oil/water separators are engineered in a range of sizes and can be
supplied in a variety of materials of
construction such as stainless steels or
FRP. Start-up and operation are simple
and reliable with little operator attention
and maintenance required.
Scrubbers / Classifiers
Attrition Machines
WEMCO Attrition Machines provide
particle surface preparation, cleaning and
desliming to improve productivity of
Classifiers
WEMCO Spiral Classifiers provide
continuous wet classification, washing,
dewatering or desliming. Fines and lowdensity materials overflow the tank weir
while coarse, fast-settling particles are
removed and dewatered by the turning
spiral. Large diameter tubular shafts and
short, cast flight arms carry heavy loads
with minimal deflection. A simple lifting
device permits easy start-up after shutdown or power interruption. Replaceable
wear shoes and tank liners simplify
maintenance and ensure long service life.
