This week we will be introducing the


topic of clothing. We will use flashcards
to introduce the vocabulary and we will
watch a video.

Sentence Structure:

We will play a few easy games in order


to review last weeks key words in
phonics class and review the e sound.
The four key words were egg, ten, vet
and web.

I am going to bring some various clothing items into school. I will put them into the middle of
the circle and I will call out an item e.g. Jumper and the first student to touch the correct
item gets to take it and put it on. The student with the most clothes on at the end wins the
game. We can then also use the clothes to practice the sentences mentioned above.

draw a small picture next to it. The students will learn these words over the weekend for a
