EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
PHP Training Program is a project regarding Training and developing that has been planned by
the ESAJEE SOLUTIONS (a leading software developing firm in Islamabad) to provide a
platform for employees to attain knowledge in the already expanding field of web developing.
PHP is a web developing language and offers allot more functionality that the already existing
languages and tools. As it is a widely known belief that the employees of any organization needs
to be trained and developed on a regular basis, if necessary, so that not only do they benefit their
organization in return, but also develop their careers. The idea PHP Training Program has been
initiated by the firm keeping in mind the demand for the said skill in the market and the benefit
of the employees as well as the firm eventually.
PROJECT PURPOSE
Business Need:
The PHP training Program has been initiated to help the employees get trained for the emerging
market of web developing. PHP is a web based developing tool which is allot more easier than
the conventional Languages like C++, and Java. Not only it is convenient but the possibilities
and application it offers are also great. Moreover there is a great demand in the current market
and a demand formation by the customers in the near future. This training will contribute to the
development of the employees and will also help in catering their career paths
Business Objectives:
The objective of the business for this project are not merely limited to the current time and
situation but are linked towards the strategic objective of the firm in the future also. They are:
Monetary Objectives:
The project will help us increase a revenue of PRs. 500,000. by getting a bid which is
offered by a customer organization.
Other Objectives:
To train our employees for further offers regarding PHP programming.

To fulfill the needs of our customers in the software developing industry.
To add a product in our product line.
To fulfill the demand in the market, and retain the prospective customers.
To help our employees to develop their career paths.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Project Objectives:
In order to achieve success on this project, the following objectives must be met within the
designated time and budget allocations:
Educate the employees about the benefits of the training program being offered
Educate the employees about the need of the PHP tool in the developing industry (although
most of the employees already know this because they operate in the same industry, but still
this should be clearly defined)
Train 10 employees (software developers) in PHP web developing.
Completion of training in four weeks from the commencement date.

Completion of training before March 2015, i.e. before the customer organization offer us
their software developing project, we must be ready.
Project Requirements:
This project must meet the following list of requirements in order to achieve success.
Hire PHP developing expert/s that will train our employees (developers)
Arrange the necessary tools required in the training program.
Get the necessary softwares required in the project
Constraints:
The following constraints pertain to the project:
Limited budget of PRs. 100000

Duration of training cannot be extended from March 2015, because our customers needs.
Assumptions:
The following assumptions must be met for the project to perform.
At least 10 web developers should be trained.

The employees (developers) will not work in the course of the project.
Preliminary Scope Statement:

The project will train and develop the employees (developers) in the field of PHP. All the project
work will be independent of the daily and ongoing operations of the firm although these
employees will only be focused on their current training and will not offer any services in due
course. The training expert will be hired from a good reputable educational institute or an already
web developing firm. The project will require a classroom which the current firm doesnt have,
so we will have to rent in a restaurant. The project will be funded by the parent firm ESAJEE
SOLUTIONS. The employees will be awarded with the project completion certificate.
RISKS
The following risks for the project have been identified. The project manager will determine and
employ the necessary risk mitigation strategies as appropriate to minimize the likelihood of these
risks:
Employees not interested in the said project

Unavailability of the Training expert
Unavailability of the training classroom
Loosing of the offer made by our customer.
PROJECT DELIVERABLES
The following deliverables must be met upon the successful completion of the project. Any
changes to these deliverables must be approved by the project sponsor.
The course of PHP training.

Employees addition in the course, or withdrawal from the course.
Budget if exceeded from PRs. 100,000.
Completion of the course before march 2015

PROJECT APPROVAL REQUIREMENTS

The project will be considered successful when all the 10 employees get to know the developing
of software in PHP language. The success of the project will be determined by taking a practical
test from the already trained employees. Also it will be up to the sponsor to decide if the project
was a success or not keeping in mind the monetary and other objectives of the project. The
success of the project can also be determined by keeping in mind the revenues and sales
generated by the PHP developing.
Project Manager
It will be the responsibility of the project manager to ensure that all the project requirements and
schedule met the required criteria. The budget should not exceed from the allocated and most
importantly that the project be ended before March 2015. If there comes any mistake then he or
she will be the one to look into it and set things on course again.
