Only the most effective autism therapies are used, taught and shared at The Faison School. The
school uses the principles of ABA, which are recognized as the best methods for long-term success
in the treatment of autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. Students are
instructed, both individually and in groups, in the areas of listening, speaking, reading and
writing. All components of a students curriculum are individualized and personalized, based on
the students specific needs, and implemented using evidence-based procedures and scientific
teaching practices. Simply put, The Faison School utilizes only proven methods and techniques
that are shown to make a difference.
Faison Today
Today, The Faison School is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, licensed as a day school by the
Virginia Department of Education. We provide programs for over 180 individuals diagnosed with
ASD and other developmental disabilities, ranging from age 16 months into adulthood. In addition
to the Day School, our programs include Early Learners, The Life Skills and Employment Center,
Funding
The services Faison provides to families are funded by school districts, Medicaid, SSI, private
insurance and private payers. However, these funds cover only a portion of the true cost of
providing the empirically proven strategies used at Faison. It is only through philanthropic gifts
that Faison can make exceptional progress possible every day and fulfill our vision for the future.
Your generosity makes all the difference and we are deeply grateful for your support.

Auctioneer be held liable or responsible for having made or implied any warranty of description, genuineness, authorship, attribution, period, culture, source, origin, condition, survey, quantity, acres, mileage, year, manufacturer, model,
etc. Bidder agrees and hereby acknowledges notice that this provision shall remain in full force and effect regardless
of any oral statements made prior, during or after the auction and in fact can and will only be modified in writing. The
bidder is instead strongly urged and agrees to make and rely solely on his/ her own inspection of the property prior to
bidding. This paragraph together with all other terms and conditions of sale, is expressly agreed to by the bidder who
hereby acknowledges that same was taken into consideration in offering the bid price made. The auctioneer will receive
bids from any registered bidder who makes his/her bid known and in so doing conducts themselves in an orderly manner.
Any person who bids in bad faith, is drunken, or acts in a boisterous, loud or otherwise disturbing or disorderly manner
disruptive of the sale will not be permitted to bid, will be required to leave the sale premises and shall be held liable
to the Seller for any damages caused including without limitation defamation, slander and/or trespass. In the event of

attorneys fees and expenses incurred. If or when the auctioneer announces Sold, title on the property shall pass to
the highest bidder. Should a tie or dispute arise between two or more bidders the auctioneer may reopen the bidding

the right to group, add to, delete, withdraw, consolidate or break down lots and/or quantities offered and to sell out of
scheduled sequence plus reject any bid which is only a fractional advance over the preceding bid, to regulate the bidding
and to accept or reject any and all bids. Absentee bids may be accepted at the discretion of the auctioneer. Any and all
decisions of the auctioneer regarding the order and conduct of the auction shall be final and absolute without liability to
anyone. Payments must be made day of sale in cash, credit card, bank or travelers checks, certified funds, or by personal
check. Personal property may not be removed until paid for in full together with all applicable sales and transfer taxes
and then shall be removed at the sole expense, risk and liability of the buyer. Unless otherwise announced, said personal
property must be removed day of sale. If for any reason the buyer fails to pay and/or remove any item within the time
specified, the auctioneer may re-sell same without liability to the buyer or removed from the auction site and/or store
said item(s) at the buyers sole risk and expense. Buyer shall be liable to auctioneer and seller for any rent or expenses
incurred, damages suffered, including loss from re-sale because of buyers failure to pay and/or timely remove any such
item. The record of sale kept by the clerk will be taken as final in the event of any dispute as to the price or quantity
offered. The auctioneers, their agents, the owners of the premises and all other persons for whom the auctioneer is acting shall not be liable to any person for damages to their person or property while in, on or about these premises, nor
shall they be liable for hidden defects. All persons are on these premises at their own risk and shall defend, indemnify
and save harmless the auctioneers and Seller(s) from any and all liability whatsoever. All auction items expire one year
from the Art for Autism Gala, unless indicated otherwise.
