LOST PROPERTY
There will be a jumble sale at Lost Property on Thursday 29 January from 07h0008h00, and from 13h00 to 14h30.
There will be a jumble sale every end of the month for unclaimed and unmarked
items. The date and time will be confirmed in the newsletter monthly.
Lost Property is open every morning from 07h00-08h00 and on for Monday and
Thursday afternoons from 13h30 to 14h00.

ART DEPARTMENT SHOUT-OUT

Mrs Frank is looking for used ice-cream containers and empty food tins for art projects this term. Please send any items you can spare with your child to the art room.

TEXTBOOKS
Textbooks were issued to learners who have returned or paid for all 2014 textbooks.
Please note that books will not be in perfect condition, as this is the third year
we are using these books. Inside pages should still be clean and usable. Learners are
not allowed to write or underline with pen and/or highlighters. Please keep books
away from liquid. No book with water/ juice/ coffee etc. stains will be taken back at
the end of 2015.
Please label books with your childs name and class, as learners have to return
barcoded books that were issued to them. Queries can be send to lbezuidenhout@
bryanstonprimary.co.za.

HAVE YOU GOT A MYSCHOOL CARD?

If you havent, pick up one from the school shop today! Also remember, if you need
a replacement card or want to make BPS your beneficiary, just fill in a form at the shop.

LATE LEARNERS
ALL learners (Grade 1 Grade 7), who arrive late in the mornings. MUST report to reception first, for a late note. Learners will not be allowed into the classroom without this note.
Please do NOT walk your child up to their classroom and interrupt the educator.
When teaching-time commences, the educator will not stop his/her lesson to
speak to you. These are BPS school rules, and we would appreciate your co-operation in this matter.

FORGOTTEN ITEMS
If a child has forgotten any item at home, they are to suffer the consequences. The
staff have been instructed NOT to accept any item during school hours. The reason
for this is that it interrupts the front office staff, the educators and the learners.
