    How to: WildStar

    STEP 1: Character Creation


    Factions: Dominion / Exile
    Classes: 6 (3x HPS 3x TPS and all can DPS)

    Warrior (TPS/DPS); Melee


    Stalker (TPS/DPS); Melee
    Techwarrior (TPS/DPS); Ranged
    Spellslinger (HPS/DPS); Ranged
    Esper (HPS/DPS); Ranged
    Medic (HPS/DPS); Melee

    STEP 2: Paths
    Soldier (Recommended for PvE)

    Back Into the Fray - heal up to 100% hp. Can be used outside of combat.
    Tactical Retreat - resets encounter; ports whole team to the entrance
    Combat Supply Drop - allows you to drop a weapon crate for you and your team. This
    weapon allows you to use skills like, e.g. stunning, etc.

    Settler (Recommended for PvE)

    ettler's Campfire - Allows you to kindle a campfire, which reinforces the healing effect
    and buffs maximum healthpoints, for the duration of an hour.
    Summon: Vendbot - Allows you to create a shop, for sixty seconds, which buys all
    goods from you.
    Summon: Mailbox - Allows you to create a mailbox, which works just like any other.
    Summon: Crafting station - Allows you to create a crafting station, where you can craft
    new items, without returning to the city. Works just like any other.

    Scientist

    Holographic Distraction- Allows you to create a clone that distracts the enemies.
    Summon: Group - Allows you to call the group to yourself.
    Create Portal: Capitol City - Allows you to open the portal to the capital city.

    Explorer

    Explorer's Safe Fall - Damage received, as a result of a fall from height is decreased,
    temporarily.
    Air Brakes - Stops you in mid-air and allows you to enjoy the view and take another
    jump.
    Translocate beacon - allows you to save the current position and, after the skill is used
    again, it teleports you to that position. Unavailable during PvP.

    STEP 3: Addons
    Download and Installation
    Curse Client
    Manual Installation
    -> download from www.curse.com/ws-addons/wildstar
    -> Go to: C:\Users\Name\AppData\Roaming\NCSOFT\WildStar
    -> Create folder named "addons"
    -> unzip the.zip files
    -> Put the folders into the new addons folder

    Addons (I for Important; O for Optional)


    [ I] Perspective (Marks Quest Mobs and Objectives)
    [ I] LUI_Aura (Weakauras)
    [ I] Interruptor (Emphasizes interruptable Spells)
    [ I] TapThat (Does small click events for you)
    [ I] VortexMeter (Damage/Healmeter)
    [ I] Threat (Threatmeter)
    [ I] Healie (Hotkey for lowest HP Player in your range)
    [O] Optiplates (Nameplates)
    [O] Iconloot (Better Loot Window)
    [O] Runemaster (Organizes Runes)
    [O] Better Quest Log (Questlog, NOT Questtracker!!)
    [O] Chat Links (For copy URLs from Chat)
    [O] Forge UI (ElvUI)

    STEP 4: Leveling
    Quests need to be 2 levels above your level

    Housing buff / potion: You can grab an XP buff every 24hours wich lasts
    24hours from your housing plot board. You can also buy xp potions (8%)
    from the renown (currency)vendor.

    Guild: You can get an 8% xp buff from a guild wich has the XP perk, find a
    guild from the weekly guild recruitment thread in the Wildstar subreddit.
    Lots of guilds recruiting, from casual to hardcore.

    Quests: Always focus on Story quests, dont do tasks!


    Authenticator: (+5% XP)/ Prime (+25% XP)

    STEP 5: What to do at max level?


    Get your Genesis Key for the Raidattunement
    Trying to get gear from Expeditions and Adventures
    Getting Reputation from following Factions:
    -> MISSION: Crimson Badlands (extra AMP)
    -> MISSION: Northern Wastes (extra AMP)
    -> Guardians of the Grove (extra Ability Point)
    -> Crusaders of the Defile (extra Ability Point)
    Adventures are the best way to farm gear and runes
    -> Bronze +1 / Silver +2 / Gold +3 extra Items at the end
    -> Veteran: War of the Wilds (10-15 minutes)
    a) 5 more kills than you have deaths on enemy champs
    b) more totems captured than the enemy
    c) complete 2/2 optional objectives
    d) Strat: http://imgur.com/ohcvdyu
    -> Veteran: Crimelords of Whitevale (25-35minutes)
    a) Choices are RNG But try to go like:
    Redmoon Maraudeurs -> Alliance -> Rocktown Rollers
    -> Criminal Enterprise -> Vengeance -> ...
    b) Dont die!
    c) 3x Alliance provides more loot (Not sure if still ingame)
    -> Veteran: The Malegrave Trail (~45 minutes)
    a) Tank + Heal + #1 DPS runs forward and 1 DPS stays in
    camp
    b) 1 person with sprint cds trys to get as much loot as he can
    c) Dont take food (unless its a fruits)
    d) Nectar for the win!
    e) Medic bombs for the Healer
    f) Addon: EntSpy for tracking missing caravan members
    g) Choices: 3rd option, 1st option, camp here, 1st option, 1st
    option, 2nd option
    h) Try to get as much water as you can.
    i) Have 1 guy running during the water event to grab water
    barrels
    j) While camping run for loot and kill the critters for meat!
    k) At the teleporter try to get 2a 2b 1c of each, when they
    start and say like we need +1 more of "a"; try to get 3a 1b
    1c; if they say we need +1 more of b, go for: 3a 2b 0c and

    you should be fine.


    (a: item 1 b: item 2 c: item 3)
    l) After the teleporter dont run into the mines field!! but still
    keep the creeps outside. 2 DPS one left one right from the
    camp. The rest can get Loot
    m) Have 2 DPS for the bridge in the caravan!
    n) Run away from whirlwinds at the boss after he splits
    o) Pull the 3 mobs near the camp when and pull mobs
    together
    p) Kill as much Wolfs as you can for meat
    -> Veteran: The Siege of the Tempest Refuge (~30 minutes)
    a) Left: 1 DPS Mid: Tank + 1 DPS Right: 1 DPS
    b) All need to run for Events like Tank/Stealther
    c) Dont die and kill everything in time
    d) The Generator has to survive with 95% HP, deaths do not
    effect medal standing
    Runecrafting
    -> Craft some runes for your items
    -> There are runesets that give extra bonuses (expensive)
    Tradeskills
    - There are 2 AHs one for items and one for goods
    Veteran Dungeons for loot (Very Hard)
    Maximize Ability Points Basic: 41 Max: 48
    Maximize AMPs Basic: 47 Max: 57
