Relative Permeability: From Wikipedia, The Free Encyclopedia

Relative permeability is a measure of the effective permeability of a phase in multiphase flow through porous media. It is defined as the ratio of the effective permeability of a phase to the absolute permeability. Models such as Corey and LET correlations are used to approximate relative permeability as a function of saturation based on experimental data.
