Now retired, I am an experienced leader of complex multi-location public and private educational
institutions and nonprofit organizations. I have a successful track record creating and implementing a
vision and cultivating relationships and generating revenue to support focused programs.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
President and CEO, Mose & Garrison Siskin Memorial Foundation d/b/a Siskin Childrens
Institute (www.siskin.org), Chattanooga, TN 2006 - 1/2013
Chattanooga, TNs leading nonprofit, Siskin Childrens Institute is an exemplary, complex, sixty-three
year-old organization serving children with varied abilities through healthcare, research, education and
outreach programs. I reported to a nineteen member Board of Directors with an eight member Advisory
Board.
*Created, concept through operation Siskin Center for Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics
*Created University School of Medicine/Childrens Hospital/Institute Partnership
*Developed and implemented award-winning rebranding

Twenty-four years and promotions into various roles on two campuses and the system office for the
University of Missouri, with the majority of those years on the campus of the University of MissouriKansas City, an urban campus having 15,000 students, 2000 employees, a budget of $205 million with a
focus on the health sciences with schools of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing and biological
sciences. I also had an adjunct Assistant Professor appointment and taught Legal Aspects of Higher
Education in the School of Educations graduate program.
