The effect of adding in a second transistor into the circuit is that it multiplies the
gain of the circuit up to 10100. This circuit proves that my transistor is not
saturated. This can be seen when comparing the saturation point from appendix
A of 66.7mA, to the 12.90mA which can be seen in figure 3.

This is my variable resistor at 72%, which gives an output of 3.971V. Whereas
71% gives an output of 4.49V. Therefore I am going to use the 72% value as it is
closer to the 4V which I required.
