Electropneumatics - Relay Control System

The document discusses relay control systems used in electropneumatic circuits. Relay control systems can implement entire electropneumatic control system signal processing using relays. Relays are still used today for applications like emergency stops, though programmable logic controllers are now more commonly used for general signal processing. The document covers direct and indirect control of single-acting and double-acting cylinders using relay circuits, as well as logic operations, signal storage, timing functions, and sequential control examples.
