Site Office
I was following my friend, Syafina which is also a practical student to the office
of the construction site to meet with Encik. Fahrurrazi Bahrol (Construction
Manager). I was briefed the progress of the building structure.
Project: Cadangan Pembangunan Perdagangan Bercampur 40 Tingkat (Mercu
Zikay), Kampung Baru.
The main contractor for this project is the Kembang Serantau Sdn. Bhd. The
building is expected to be completed in December 2016.

Steel formwork :
Steel formwork usage is limited and requires its own unique skills.
Production before pouring concrete usually requires a steel formwork for
durable and can be used repeatedly.
Wood formwork :
This material is widely used in construction. It is readily available and
easy to work with. Semi - dried soft wood is an excellent material for
making formwork.
