    BadgeMaker, one application controls all
    BadgeMaker 5500 is the per fect solution for card personalization based on
    available databases. Many organizations rather keep the card personalization process in
    house than provide ser vice bureaus insight in their databases when customizing and
    personalizing their identification badges.
    BadgeMaker 5500 software offers you the convenience of designing, customizing and
    personalizing cards on demand, making use of existing databases, like Oracle, SQL Ser ver, MS
    Access and so on. By means of Open DataBase Connectivity (ODB C), BadgeMaker 5500 uses
    available data collected in databases without having an impact on its
    content. To preser ve user-friendliness, BadgeMaker is one application
    that controls the underlying programs. In the DataBase view the link is
    made to the available database, and the visible fields are set. Multiple full
    color card layouts can be designed in the second view, called Badge view,
    adding any combination of artwork, images, both static and dynamic
    text fields. In the BadgeMaker main screen, you add personal data and
    store related images, digital photographs, signatur es and even biometric information and subsequently print the card.

    Numerous advanced features are included in BadgeMaker 5500: e.g. dynamic logo,
    automatic layout, barcode, magstripe, Nedap, chip encoding and contactless cards like Mifar e,
    LEGIC, iClass and Texas Instruments. An additional BM5500 feature is the opportunity to customize the user interface through OLE. It enables you to create personal screens/user interfaces that only display the required information fields and functions.
    BM5500 can scan multiple forms where passphotos, signatures etc automatically can be stored into the central databases. This is useful when
    large amounts of pictures have to be scanned. The scanning is based on
    a barcode which links the pictures to the database.
    Using your own database to personalize ID cards gives you the
    required flexibility, security and reliability. BadgeMaker 4000 is the perfect tool for organiza tions with limited card requirements. BadgeMaker 5000 enables you to take care of card
    production in a professional but user-friendly manner, using a dBase IV engine. For creating an
    MS Access database, you can use BadgeMaker 5400.
    Organizations having databases like Oracle, MS Access or
    SQL Server can choose BadgeMaker 5500 to connect to
    the available database. BadgeMaker 6000 is a software
    developers kit to integrate the badge printing technology
    into your own application.
