How music
intensifies the
emotions?
How the different kinds of music affect
the emotions of the people, why
listening to music makes us feel better
or worst.
---------------------------------Reyes Medina Julio Csar
----------------------------------

Music has great

power over our
mood, but usually
select music
according to our
mood. When we are
sad we get ballads,
songs with slow
rhythm and lyrics
that speak of
sadness, but we
know we should just
listen to songs with
energy Why we like
feel bad or
sadness? Actually
we dont, it is our
subconscious that
does this for us. The
feeling is stronger
than logic, and we
listen to music that

recreates us in the
mood.
However, when we
are happy we need
to listen to music
with great energy,
and those vibrations
come to our brain
as activating
pleasure centers
waves, the regions
associated with
emotions and areas
responsible for
interpreting the
language. All this
makes even our
mood improve even
more,

besides the slow

and sad songs did
not affect our
optimism.
Worse music not
only affects us
pathologically.
Studies
Massachusetts
General Hospital
and various
hospitals in the
world have shown
that the tension of
the people listening
for half an hour a
day music is lower
than that of those
who do not.

Once Upon a Time

What kind of music do you like?, Do you like it?, Do you think
that is real music?, Are we listening real instruments?, Think
twice.
---------------------------------Perez Miranda Jacob Isaias
----------------------------------

By the early 1960s, popular music

had become electrified. Musicians
and listeners were looking for new
sounds. Producer Joe Meek and his

Tornados used the Clavioline to

interject a bit of space-age
electronica into their 1962 hit
Telstar, while television viewers

thrilled to the eerie sounds of the

BBC Radiophonic Workshop's Doctor
Who theme a year later.
It was during this time that
Americans Robert Moog and Donald
Buchla were independently putting
together what would be the first
commercially available synthesizers.
Buchla completed his modular
instrument in 1963 and began
selling it in 1966. However, Moog's
instrument made the bigger splash
thanks, in part, to the familiar
organ-style keyboard that could be
used to play it.

Released in 1964, Moog's modular

system was used by artists as
diverse as Gershon Kingsley, The
Beatles and the Monkees, but it was
Wendy Carlos's 1968 LP Switched
On Bach that made Moog's name
synonymous with the word
synthesizer. A slew of electronic
cover albums followed and, by the
time the electrons had settled,
Moog had put the synthesizer into
the hands of gigging musicians with
the Minimoog. Popular music would
never be the same

CHOICE OF THE WEEK

By Moi.
THEIR SATANIC MAJESTIC REQUEST
Their Satanic Majestic Request is the sixth studio album made
by the Rolling Stones, it was released on 8 December 1967,
its a very important album for Rolling Stones career,
specially, for the first appear of the song Shes a Rainbow,
one of the most famous songs from this band.
This album will be remembered forever, its acid rock and
psychedelic pop brought out Rolling Stones to the fame in the
music around the world. It was on the list of best albums in
UK, USA and Australia during 1967 and 1968.
All songs are written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards,
except In Another Land by Bill Wyman, who created a
masterpiece into the psychedelic rock and all 60s music.

The cover is full of art too. Its been one of the most creative
and colorful covers from the band, this is made with a collage
designed by Michael Cooper and a painting by Tony
Meeuwisen, showing colors, portraits, mandalas and flowers, a
perfect combination with the music into it.
I recommend to listen this album more than once, in order to
enjoy the music and lyrics. Also, this album should be a good
option for start listening to Rolling Stones.

We cant speak about the best band of the world since music was born,
however here we have a fantastic band that has a
fantastic meaning with their songs.
The Killers was founded on 2001 by Brandon Flowers and
Dave Keuning in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Brandon Flowers who is the singerhe was expelled when
he refused to move with the rest of them to Los Angeles,
California.
Since that moment, The Killers began a story with a lot of
great music.

Hot Fuss, was the firts disc by The Killers.

It was released on June 7, 2004 in the United
Kingdom and on June 15, 2004 in the United
States. The album is mostly influenced by new
wave music and post-punk. Hot Fuss produced
several commercially and critically successful
singles: "Mr. Brightside", "Somebody Told Me",
"All These Things That I've Done" and "Smile Like
You Mean It".

It is the second disc of this fabolous band.

This was an album that gave meaning to
where was The Killers and for that Brandon
and the rest were very happy. However, the
magazine Rolling Stone, give them 3 stars in
their concert at the Madison Square Garden
because they said that they should to put
mre songs in the lbum like in Hot Fuss.

Flowers said that this lbum was the most

happy and after the release of the lbum, the
band go to a worldtour.
According to critics the various critics of
music, songs from this album makes people
have the sensation of floating in the air.
Some of the songs from this lbum are:
Human, Spaceman, A Dustland
Fairytale and Thw World We Live In.

Battle Born is the fourth albums by The

Killers and this was realise in 2012 after the
worldtour of Day and Age.
Flowers said that Runaays and Miss
Atomic Bomb were the songs that could fit
out the perfect lbum.
The name of the lbum comes of the
Nevadas flag. It has writted the phrase
Battle Born.

Direct hits is the fifth lbum and it was

recorded after Battle Born WorldTour, but
this lbum has some thins very special.
It was recorded 10 years after the first
presentation in London.
The first song was Shot At The Night in
commemoration of the ten years of the
band. Brandon said that his recording feels
like a way to clean up everything and move
to the next level.
Brandon wanted to call the album cream.
Theres no doubt that The Killers is a fantasric band with wonderful songs
that can touch our hearts with each letter of each verse.

Longing to hear his next single which will be a success
