1. Choose a topic: Science Plants 2. Identify the standards and write objectives: 3rd grade Colorado State Standard 2) Life Science. The concepts and skills students master: 1. The duration and timing of life cycle events such as reproduction and longevity vary across organisms and species. Evidence Outcomes: Students can: a. Use evidence to develop a scientific explanation regarding the stages of how organisms develop and change over time (DOK 13) b. Analyze and interpret data to generate evidence that different organisms develop differently over time (DOK 1-2) c. Use a variety of media to collect and analyze data regarding how organisms develop (DOK 1-2) 3. Describe your method here: Students will use this hunt as a review activity before a vocabulary quiz on the parts of a plant and the stages of a plant lifecycle. Students will work in partners. Partners will scan one QR code at a time and then write their answer down. Students will have 10 minutes to answer all the questions.
