With all respect, I want to give you information about my some knowledge this month. For example
maintenanance over haul piston Auxliary Engine III cylinder number 4,5 &6 because due of running hours.
Detail of work over haul piston Auxliary engine III :

1. Switch Acknowledge
off the power by Chief Engineer
2. Closed air starting valve& fuel oil valve
3. Drained the cooling water and remove the top cover
4. Disconected andWarsito
remove pipes coupling from cylinder head

5. Disconected and remove hight pressure fuel oil pipe
6. Removed the srews on the cooling water and exhaust pipe
7. Removed the nuts cylinder head bolts by hydraulic jack
8. Fitted lifting tool and remove cylinder head
9. Make sure that the two push rod are keep on position in the cam follower
10. Opened crank case doors
11. Cleaned the sealing surface between the cylinder head and the cylinder liner
12. Rotated the crankshaft until the piston is in TDC ( top death compression )
13. Attached the lifting tool and asling to the piston
14. Removed locking wire ,locking screws and locking plates
15. Released bearing bolts by hydraulic jack
16. Removed the nuts and pull off the bearing cap
17. Removed bolts by using hexagon key ( 10 mm )
18. Rotated the crankshaft until free of the conection rod and lift the piston carefully
19. Removed the piston rings by special piston ring plier
20. Inspected piston rings,ring grooves and measure the liner
21. Installation the piston should be inserted with lub oil
22. The bearing cap contact surfaces must be thorougly cleaned
23. Put the upper bearing shell in place and check the groove in the shell support
24. Put the lower bearing shell in the bearing cap and make sure that the shell in corect position
25. Clean the bolts and lubricate the threads in order to prevent seizing
26. Enter the bolts and tighten slightlywith hex key
27. Make sure that studs are corect posision
28. Enter the bearing cap on the bolts
29. Install the hydraulic power tool and tension to specified values
30. Assemble locking plate, locking screw, and locking wire
