Materials: models,pictures,cards,projector, and
cartolinas.

Procedures
A. Preliminary activities:
1. Review/drill
The teacher will review the past lesson about the nervous
system.
2. Motivation
Teacher will present a short video about the endocrine
system.
B. Lesson Proper
1. Presentation
Teacher will post the name of the major galands in the
endocrine system from the video theyve watch:
pituitary,thyroid, parathyroid, thymus,adrenal, pancreas and
reproductive.

She will make the students guess the lesson of the day.

2. Discussion
Teacher wil post the picture on the endocrine system on
the board.

b. Present the major glands in the endocrine system.
c. Discuss each glands functions, locations, and
hormones it releases.

3. Generalization
Students will label the major glands in the endocrine system.

4.Application
Teacher will group the students into 4, each group will be
given 4 cards with letter A, B,C, and D.
Teacher will ask Multiple choice questions about the
topic.
Students will answer by raising the card with correct
answer.

Teacher will recite each gland and functions and students


will stand if that is true and sit if it is false.

Assignment
What are the different disorders in the endocrine system due
to hormonal imbalance and the hormones responsible, and
explain why is this happens?
