INTRODUCTION
In the course Civil Engineering, brickwork
laboratory is the basic program that all
Civil Engineering student need to take.
This is to ensure the future civil engineer
have understood the brickwork and make
them more easily to understand or clear
about their further study subject.

The purpose of this report is to classify the


step to build a T shape stretcher bond in
brickwork.

The description of the step to build a T


shape stretcher bond in brickwork are
listed in this report.

OBJECTIVE
To classify the name and the
uses of the tools.
To understand the step to build
a T shape stretcher bond.

PROCEDURE

2. Mix the lime and


the aggregate
together before put
into bucket.

3. Pour 20 bucket
together at cleaner
place. After that, mix
the mixture properly
and make a big hole
at the center of the
mixture.

4. Pouring 5 buckets
water into the hole of
the mixture.

5. Mix the mixture


with the water
together properly.

6. After finish the


concrete done, pour
the mortar into the
bucket.

mortar on the
cleaner place
and make a
straight hole on
the middle of
mortar before
put the brick on
that.
8. Put the brick
on the mortar
after finish step

9. Use the spirit


level to check
the brick is
equilibrium in
horizontal and
vertical or not.
10. If the brick is
not equilibrium,
use the trowel to
rod lightly taps
the brick until
the brick is
equilibrium.

11. After make sure


the brick is
equilibrium, take
over the extra part
of the mortar. This
step is to clean the
place so that we
can easy to
measure the

that, put the
mortar on the
head of the second
brick, and make
the mortar to be
triangle shape.
After that, put
ours thumb on the
middle of the
triangle of the
mortar to take

second brick, use
the spirit level to
make sure the first
brick and the second

straight line.

14. If the brick is not


in the straight line,
use the trowel to rod
lightly taps until it is
in the straight line.

15. Use the L


shape ruler to
measure the
line of the
bricks is
equilibrium or
not when
finished each
layer.

Repeat step 7
to step 15 until
finish the
project.

CONCLUSION

Brickwork laboratory is very important to our


Civil Engineering course. The understanding
and classify of the procedure of building the T
shape stretcher bond is very important,
because the step to build the T shape
stretcher bond is the basic knowledge we have
to know. And we will not confuse the step to
build the stretcher bong in brickwork with the
others workshop. It can be more save time and
also can ensure safety of student when
undergo brickwork.

Lastly, after this project we have understanding


the step to build the T shape stretcher bond.
Therefore, we are able to build the stretcher
bond in the brickworks with no delay and
problems.
