About my latest work


Im currently a full stack web developer for Restorandoting.com, a website to list
restaurants in Argentina.
Our stack is Ruby on Rails with custom optimizations, and I work in implementing
features that go from Nginx to the html rendering on the frontend.
Some of the most important challenges I solve are the implementation of libraries
and utilities custom to our stack that dont have an open source version, available
on my Github page.
I am from Argentina, and I speak fluent english. Worked with foreign clients in the
past, and I am fully willing to relocate.

Why Twitter should hire me


I have ample experience with the Rails framework and many other open source
tools. I contributed to the Twitter secureheaders project, and Im very profficient in
database design and any full stack ruby technologies.

Started working at Restorandoting.com when they closed the first investor round.
Part of a 7 man team deciding and implementing the entire stack of the site.
My main responsibilities have been database design, and high quality re-usable
components that were also open sourced and are visible on my github account.
Accomplishments

Designed and picked the technologies of the stack that all the
developers would use
Fixed and upgraded several open source projects to fit the needs of the
company
Implemented the entire christmas version of the website in a 24hs
hackaton, which boosted usage +100% as part of a company campagin

Junior Software Developer, GuiaOleo.com


Buenos Aires 2010-2013
GuiaOleo.com is the Yelp of Argentina. Worked as part of the website upgrade
team. The website has been running on Rails 1.8x for several years and
upgraded it to Rails 4, as well as improving the performance, quality and
reliability of the site. Later moved to the Backend team and work on Tracking,
helping the management team make decisions based on site usage.
Accomplishments
Insights from data analysis helped management make the decision to
create an entire new product for Bars that was not available before,
The Upgrade of Rails 1.8x to 4 improved site performance by 30%, as
well as allowed us to use modern libraries that cut down development

time.
