The contract signing ceremony was held at Abuja (Nigeria) where Air Vice Marshal Iya Ahmed
Abdullahi and Air Marshal Arshad Malik, Chairman of the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC), signed
the contract, PAF spokesman Air Commodore Syed Mohammad Ali said.
The contract includes operational training and technical support and assistance to the NAF. The Pakistan
Air Force would completely establish this facility in the shortest possible time, he said.
The contract will not only open new vistas for export of aviation equipment to foreign countries but also
help generate revenue for the country.
The aircraft is already in service with Saudi Arabia, Oman, Iran and South Africa.
The deal strengthens PACs status as a world class aviation industry producing the supersonic JF-17
Thunder and Super Mushshak trainer aircraft.
