REPLACEMENT OF A‘ 01 PROCESSOR MODULE PM632 1.4.4 CHANGING PM632 FROM SHIP SPARE PARTS The spare parts set includes two spare modules. Software running in cycloconverter 1 and 2 is different. System software and application software has been loaded in PM632 board during commissioning. Open the circuit breaker F2 in control cubicle R1. ‘Change the Processor module PM632. Put the START MODE selector switch on the module to position START. Close the circuit breaker F2 in control cubicle R1. 5. When the software has started reset all alarms. When installing a new processor module (the package has not been opened before) the system software and application software has to be loaded, see document ‘Loading of AC110 software’. Rena 4.4.2 CHANGING NEW PM632 MODULE ‘When installing a new processor module (the package has not been opened before) the system software and application software has to be loaded. LOADING SYSTEM SOFTWARE TO PM632 (NEW PROCESSOR MODULE) Both AC110.1 and AC1 10.2 has same system software. On the front of the processor module PM632 “PL” will be displayed after power on if no system software is loaded. In this case you should load the system software and its options as described in this section. Also revision of system software must be correct. The Advant Controller 110 system software and its options are stored in flash PROM on the PM632 module. To load either system software or options to flash PROM, you need an Advant Station 100 series Engineering Station and the diskettes listed below: + AC 110 BASE SW'2.1/0 Base system software = AC 110 OPT1 SW*2.1/0 enables the extended PC element set * AC 110 OPT2 SW’2.1/0 enables the MVI handler = AC 110 OPT3 SW’2.1/0 enables event handling functions + AC 110 OPT4 SW"2.1/0 enables the Modbus | driver The diskette contains: * A loader program + PM632.PIF file to start the loader from Windows + README.TXT file containing the latest information about the software * Other required software. Start the Windows File Manager by double-clicking on its icon in the Main group.Select the drive A by clicking on its icon in the drive bar. Select COM1 port. Find the PM632.PIF file in the directory window of the File Manager. Start loading the new system software by double-clicking on the icon of the PM632.PIF file. ‘When you have successfully loaded the Advant Controller 110 system software, itis indicated on the engineering station's screen. If an error occurs during the download of the system software, repeat the above procedure. LOADING AN OPTION Follow this procedure to load an AC 110 system software: gees ° Put the PM632 start mode switch into STOP position. Press the INIT button of the PM632. Wait until PM632 display shows “P3", Connect the engineering station to the Advant Controller 110 Start the engineering station. Put the floppy disk containing the system software and the loader into the engineering station's drive A. Start the File Manager of Windows (or Windows for Workgroups) by double-clicking on its icon in the Main group. Select the drive A by clicking on its icon in the drive bar. Connect the communication cable to the upper connector (CH1) on the module and the other end to the Lap-Top serial port (COM!). 2. Start the Windows. 3. Start the Application Builder. 4, Open the concerned node (node 10 for PM1 or node 20 for PM2), the Function Chart Builder will start. 5. Connect the Lap-Top to the controller by selecting CONNECT from the TARGET menu. 6. When the connection has been carried out the Status and the Options Report will appear on the screen. Options report will show same revisions (2.1). Close the reports. 7. Load the target code from the Lap-Top to the controller by selecting LOAD APPLICATION from the TARGET menu. During loading the Output window appear on the screen. When loading has been completed the “Download finished!” text appears in the Output window. 8. Start the software by selecting DEBLOCKING PROGRAM from the TARGET menu. 9. When the software has started reset all alarms. 10. If the processor module is equipped with a backup battery set the right date and time for module by selecting SET DATE AND TIME from the TARGET menu. 11. Save the application software in the controller PROM by selecting SAVE in PROM from the TARGET menu. 12, Select REPORT STATUS from TARGET menu and see error reports. Delete all reports. 13. It is possible to open these door locks by following prosedure: Stop the propulsion motor by tuming ‘stop start’ switch to position ‘stop’. Open isolator of 0-reactance inductor. ‘Tur supply breaker in PS1-cubicle to test-position ‘Turn earthing switches in PS1-cubicle to earth position, both isolators before and after pyrobreaker. 5 Press push button ‘releasing of door locks’ in cycloconverter cubicle B1 and open door. Note: It is possible to by-pass the above interlocks and open the door locks with a key provided. In this case, before opening the doors, it must be ensured that necessary earthings have been carried out to avoid any dangerous voltage. The encoders have been adjusted mechanically to the same position during ‘commissioning. If the encoder is damaged, the spare encoder can be connected to cycloconverter without major action. 1. Stop the motor. 2. Open the circuit breaker F22 in cubicle E1. 3. Disconnect the cable from the faulty encoder. 4, Connect the cable to the spare encoder. 5. Close the circuit breaker F22 in cubicle E1 6. The motor is ready for use Ina suitable situation check the encoder and wiring to find faulty component and replace REMOVE THE ENCODER (FAULTY ENCODER NOT IN USE) ‘Stop motor Open the encoder gear cover hood. Connect the cable to the new encoder. Close the circuit breaker F2 in cubicle E1 |. Check the reading from the service card ‘The encoder is turned until the reading on the service card is exactly the same as that of the other encoder. After tightening the locking screws, check the reading once more. If the reading Is something else, tum the encoder until the reading is correct. Tighten the clamps. Remove the shaft turing gear. The motor is ready for use. When the motor is running for the first time with new encoder, s¢ voltage meters. INSTALLATION OF TWO NEW ENCODERS (ABSOLUTE ENCODER SETTING) If you can not trust the position reading of any of the encoders, or the encoders and mountings have been removed the encoders must be reset. ‘Two people with two way radios are needed for the task. 1, Engage the shaft turning gear and rotate the the shaft until the zero point marks on the shaft and on the bearing body are exactly aligned. 2. Install the encoders. 3. Open the circuit breaker F22 in cubicle E1. 4, Connect the cable to the first encoder. 5. Close the circuit breaker F22 in cubicle E1 6. Connect a multimeter over the 100 ohm resistor installed on the terminals in JB6. Tum the encoder until the reading on the multimeter changes from 0 Volt to 2 Volt, in the position where it changes is the encoder zero point. 7. Tighten the clamps. 8. Open the circuit breaker F22 in cubicle E1. 9. Connect the cable to the other encoder and do the same as in point 6. 10. Close the circuit breaker F22 in cubicle E1 41. Check the absolute encoder mechanical angle from the PSR service card display card A16 rack A2 cubicle E1: - Set the IDT to 2 - Set the PF to 4, ADDRESS may be what ever - Set parameter to 0213.
