SYSTEM CONTROL COMPUTER (AC110) R1/A1-a3
For detailed information read AC110 User’s Guide (File 4, Cycloconverter CC1-CC2 common,
chapter 4 Advant controller 110).
REPLACEMENT OF A‘ 01 PROCESSOR MODULE PM632
1.4.4 CHANGING PM632 FROM SHIP SPARE PARTS
The spare parts set includes two spare modules. Software running in cycloconverter 1 and 2 is
different. System software and application software has been loaded in PM632 board during
commissioning.
Open the circuit breaker F2 in control cubicle R1.
‘Change the Processor module PM632.
Put the START MODE selector switch on the module to position START.
Close the circuit breaker F2 in control cubicle R1.
5. When the software has started reset all alarms.
When installing a new processor module (the package has not been opened before) the system
software and application software has to be loaded, see document ‘Loading of AC110 software’.

4.4.2 CHANGING NEW PM632 MODULE
‘When installing a new processor module (the package has not been opened before) the system
software and application software has to be loaded.
LOADING SYSTEM SOFTWARE TO PM632 (NEW PROCESSOR MODULE)
Both AC110.1 and AC1 10.2 has same system software. On the front of the processor module
PM632 “PL” will be displayed after power on if no system software is loaded. In this case you
should load the system software and its options as described in this section. Also revision of
system software must be correct. The Advant Controller 110 system software and its options
are stored in flash PROM on the PM632 module.
To load either system software or options to flash PROM, you need an Advant Station 100
series Engineering Station and the diskettes listed below:
+ AC 110 BASE SW'2.1/0 Base system software
= AC 110 OPT1 SW*2.1/0 enables the extended PC element set
* AC 110 OPT2 SW’2.1/0 enables the MVI handler
= AC 110 OPT3 SW’2.1/0 enables event handling functions
+ AC 110 OPT4 SW"2.1/0 enables the Modbus | driver
The diskette contains:
* A loader program
+ PM632.PIF file to start the loader from Windows
+ README.TXT file containing the latest information about the software
* Other required software.

EQUuiPMENT IN PHASE UNITS
EQUIPMENTS AT HIGH VOLTAGE CUBICLE
Thyristor cubicles have magnetic door locks. It is possible to open these door locks by following
prosedure:
Stop the propulsion motor by tuming ‘stop start’ switch to position ‘stop’.
Open isolator of 0-reactance inductor.
‘Tur supply breaker in PS1-cubicle to test-position
‘Turn earthing switches in PS1-cubicle to earth position, both isolators before and after
pyrobreaker.
5 Press push button ‘releasing of door locks’ in cycloconverter cubicle B1 and open door.
Note: It is possible to by-pass the above interlocks and open the door locks with a key provided.
In this case, before opening the doors, it must be ensured that necessary earthings have been
carried out to avoid any dangerous voltage.
