2. Alignment Plate
Description: The alignment plate is used to align or register two adjacent parts. One part has a
curved surface, the other a notch.
Grading criteria:
a. Create the part such that the default isometric view is the view shown at below.
b. The part is symmetrical about Side and Front datum planes.
c. The Top plane is coincident with the center of the top arc.
d. Place the origin where shown.
e. The hole sizes change together.
f. Use only the dimensions shown here in creating the sketch and make sure that the
sketch is fully defined.

3. C-Clamp
Grading criteria:
a. Create the part such that the default isometric view is the view shown at right.
b. Place the origin where shown.
c. The part is symmetrical about the Front plane.
d. The hole sizes change together.
e. Use only the dimensions shown here in creating the sketch and make sure that the
sketch is fully defined.

4. Clamp
Description: This clamps is used to support a pipe and is meant to be pushed onto the pipe
and secured with the two mounting holes.
Grading criteria:
a. Create the part such that the default isometric view is the view shown below.
b. The origin is located at the center of the two concentric arc.
c. The part is symmetrical about the Front plane.
d. The hole sizes change together.
e. Use only the dimensions shown here in creating the sketch and make sure that the
sketch is fully defined.

5. Tuning Fork
Description: Tuning forks are built to produce a specified pitch (note) when struck on a
hard object. Tuning forks are used to tune instruments or provides a starting note for a
choir.
Grading criteria:
a. Create the part such that the default isometric view is the view shown below.
b. The origin is located at the center of the two concentric arc.
c. The part is symmetrical about the Front plane.
d. Use only the dimensions shown here in creating the sketch and make sure that the
