Procedure to Install & Configure Outlook on Android & iOS

based Mobile Devices

For Android based Mobile Devices


1. Go to Play Store App on your phone
2. In the Play Store App Search box, type Outlook for Android & then click Search. Click on
Microsoft Outlook App from the Search results
3. Click on INSTALL to install Microsoft Outlook App
4. Click on ACCEPT on the next screen
5. App will start downloading. The time of download will depend upon your Mobile Internet
connection speed. Once the download completes, the App will install itself. After the app has
finished installing, click on OPEN to open the app
6. Click on GET STARTED to start configuring your IndianOil Email account in Microsoft Outlook
app on your phone
7. Type your email address under the Email address field & then click on COUTINUE
8. As soon as you click COUTINUE button, the text on the button will change to LOOKING UP
ACCOUNT. After few moments, the text will again change to STILL LOOKING & now a new
button SETUP ACCOUNT MANUALLY will appear. Click on that new button
9. In the Choose Account Type window, click Exchange under Microsoft
10. Enter the password under Password field & then click on SHOW ADVANCED SETTINGS
11. Type Server as mail.indianoil.in, Domain as ioc & Username as Your 8-digit Employee
Code & then click on (checkmark) symbol at the top right corner of the screen
12. A screen will appear saying Attempting to login
13. Click on MAYBE LATER at the next screen
14. Click on SKIP at the bottom left corner on the next screen
15. After that, the mails will start syncing from the server to your mobile device in the Microsoft
Outlook app

That completes the Installation & configuration of Microsoft Outlook app on Android based
Mobile Devices.
For iOS based Mobile Devices
1. Go to App Store App on your phone
2. In the App Store App Search box, type Outlook for iOS & then click Search. Click on
Microsoft Outlook email and calendar App from the Search results
3. Click on GET to download Microsoft Outlook App. App will start downloading. The time of
download will depend upon your Mobile Internet connection speed
4. Once the download completes, click on INSTALL to install Microsoft Outlook App
5. Click on ACCEPT on the next screen, if required.
6. After the app has finished installing, click on OPEN to open the app.
7. Rest of the steps are same as outlined in steps 6 to 15 above for Android based Mobile Devices
